Chesapeake Home Services Becomes Largest Sponsor for Beebe Medical Foundation’s Progress for Prostate Golf Tournament
Chesapeake Home Services will sponsor $5,000 for Beebe Medical Foundation’s Progress for Prostate Golf Tournament – the largest in the event’s history.
The annual golf tournament is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, and will feature a gathering the day before golfers hit the tees.
The Progress for Prostate Tournament raises funds for Beebe Healthcare’s Center for Robotic Surgery and Robert & Eolyne Tunnell Cancer Center’s Men’s Health Program.
Chesapeake Home Services owner, Travis Martin, said he is proud that his company is able to continue to support and invest in Beebe Healthcare, the local not-for-profit community healthcare system.
“Chesapeake is happy to increase our level of support for this important need in our community,” Martin said. “As our company has grown, our community has also grown. We recognize that the need for health services close to home is as important today as it will be tomorrow.”
The 16th Annual Progress for Prostate Tournament will be held at Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club in Dagsboro. New this year, the Progress for Prostate Patio Party will be held the evening before the tournament. The Patio Party will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, and will feature music by Otto Grundman and entertainment by Dickens Parlour Theatre.
The evening will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, auctions, and more. Tickets are $35 each and can be obtained by calling (302) 644-2900 or visiting www.beebemedicalfoundation.org.
Progress for Prostate continues to grow each year through the support of local businesses and supporters, like Chesapeake Home Services.
“Supporting Progress for Prostate directly helps those in their greatest need. Having Chesapeake’s support at the highest sponsorship level is a wonderful example to others to consider joining them in support and reach high,” said Tom Protack, Vice President of Development for Beebe Medical Foundation.
“We all know someone affected by cancer and want them to receive the best treatment possible. Progress for Prostate is helping to ensure our loved ones receive top notch care. On behalf of our cancer center and surgical team of doctors and nurses and the many thousands of patients who visit Beebe each year, I am very grateful to Chesapeake Home Services for their partnership.”
The event wouldn’t be possible without the partnership and support of the local business community and supporters like Chesapeake Home Services.
