Beebe Healthcare Welcomes New Hospital Medicine and Critical Care Physicians to Care Team

Beebe Healthcare is proud to welcome the following clinicians to its continuously growing team of medical experts:

Bradlee Palmquist, DO, is an academic nocturnist who specializes in internal medicine, with special interests in critical care medicine, hospice and palliative care, and healthcare for the LGBTQIA+ community. Much of Dr. Palmquist’s time is devoted to caring for adult patients admitted to the hospital from the Emergency Department, who are facing complex medical issues requiring around-the-clock treatment and monitoring. In addition to collaborating with other attending physicians, specialists, and nursing teams, he works closely with resident physicians with a goal to educate, encourage, and foster their critical thinking and medical skills.

“I am grateful for the opportunity Beebe provides physicians to grow as both clinicians and educators,” said Dr. Palmquist. “I am excited to contribute to the continuous growth and development of the healthcare system’s graduate medical education programs.”

Anne Caswell, MD, is an internal medicine physician who specializes in hospital-based medicine and primary care. She plays a vital role as adult patients are admitted to the hospital after initially seeking care in the Emergency Department. As an academic nocturnist, Dr. Caswell provides care for patients during the overnight hours while also devoting time to teaching medical residents who are training at Beebe. She is passionate about health equity, social justice, and doing her part to ensure all members of the community have access to high-quality, equitable healthcare.

“I grew up in Sussex County and am now raising children here; this is my community!” said Dr. Caswell. “Returning to this community as a physician at Beebe feels like coming full circle, and like returning home. I have great respect for the clinicians who have dedicated their careers to working here, and I feel lucky to be learning from and working alongside them.”
