Elizabeth D. Fischer, DNP, FNP-C, APRN

Elizabeth Fischer, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner who practices as part of Beebe Medical Group. She specializes in family medicine and sees patients of all ages at Beebe Family Practice Lewes. 

Prior to joining Beebe Healthcare in May 2022, Elizabeth served as a family nurse practitioner at Brandywine Counseling and Community Services in Milford, where she focused on clinical treatment to manage opioid use and disorders, as well as care for patients with co-morbid mental health conditions. Earlier in her career, she worked as a family nurse practitioner with focus on cardiovascular surgery at Vidant Medical Group in Greenville, North Carolina. Elizabeth also has nursing experience working in trauma, burn, surgical intensive care, medical intensive care, and intermediate intensive care environments, serving various hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country since earning licensure as a registered nurse.

Elizabeth earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia, where her clinical rotations focused on family practice, pediatric care, woman’s health, and advanced primary care. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Center New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her two and four-legged family. She and her husband enjoy international long-distance runs, hiking, and snowboarding.
