Beebe Introduces New Clinicians, Expanding Access to Specialty Care
Beebe Healthcare continues to grow its medical staff with new physicians and physician assistants who offer specialized clinical care services for those who live in, work in, and visit Sussex County. The organization recently introduced four new clinicians, expanding access to endocrinology, primary care, and oncology services.
Abhigna Kulkarni, MD, is an endocrinologist who cares for patients who have been diagnosed with various endocrine conditions – with emphasis on comprehensive diabetes management. She also specializes in the treatment of pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal disorders, as well as osteoporosis. Dr. Kulkarni guides people on how to make healthy lifestyle choices that allow them to take an active role in improving and maintaining their overall health.
“My approach emphasizes the importance of healthy lifestyle choices and mindful eating and empowers patients to take an active role in their long-term health,” said Dr. Kulkarni. “I am excited to serve the vibrant and diverse communities of southern Delaware. The close-knit communities and the active lifestyle that is possible in this area align perfectly with my preventive and holistic care philosophy.”

Gracie Chaires, PA-C, is a physician assistant who works in the primary care setting. She treats patients ages seven years and older who are experiencing a wide range of acute and chronic health issues.
Chaires is passionate about preventive medicine and promotes the importance of seeing a trusted clinical provider on a regular basis as well as scheduling recommended health screenings, based on age and personal medical history. She takes time to educate her patients and engages them in ways that allow them to make well-informed decisions about their health.
“From my first interaction at Beebe, I knew it was a team I wanted to be a part of,” said Chaires. “Everyone is so kind and truly cares about doing their best for the patients. I have been visiting the area with my family since I was a child, and being able to work in a community I have grown to love throughout my lifetime is a privilege.”

Sarah Kate DiBuo, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients of all ages who have been diagnosed with chronic diseases requiring ongoing clinical management. Some of the most common chronic conditions she treats include hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, asthma, allergies, and mental health conditions.
Additionally, DiBuo sees patients with acute illnesses and injuries that require prompt medical attention, including upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, rashes and wounds, back pain, and sprains and strains. She promotes the importance of seeing a primary care provider on a regular basis to ensure wellness exams, preventive screenings, and vaccinations remain up-to-date.
“In my experience in emergency and urgent care medicine, I saw a lot of preventable complications of disease and comorbid conditions,” said DiBuo. “I want to make a positive impact and inspire people to stay healthy. My goal is to get to know my patients on a deeper level and help lead them towards healthy lifestyles.”

Madeline (Maddy) Kuchta, PA-C, is a physician assistant who specializes in hematology and medical oncology. She works collaboratively with oncologists and other members of the patient care team to conduct clinical assessments, manage and adjust treatment plans, coordinate care, and offer ongoing education and support for patients and families. Kuchta is dedicated to providing cancer patients with personalized, compassionate, comprehensive care.
“Beebe was a good choice for me because everyone is so friendly, kind, and willing to support each other,” said Kuchta. “Beebe provides comprehensive, compassionate care to their patients and sees the person rather than just the patient. I am really excited to be working with Beebe’s experts in the field of hematology and oncology and caring for patients in this setting.”
