Narcan -- Overdose Prevention Education and Kits

This Narcan education event will be held in MILLVILLE on JULY 5 outside the Beebe primary care office at 32550 Doc's Place Extension #2 Millville, DE 19967 from 10am-12 noon. You can walk up, receive training in overdose prevention and a free kit with Narcan from the Delaware Division of Public Health. According to the CDC, Delaware is currently #3 in the nation for overdose related deaths. You can make a difference in these statistics. For those that can't make this event, there are Narcan distribution points of distribution or PODS, every month at Epworth Church during their food pantry at 19285 Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth Beach staffed by Beebe community health/behavioral health. Each month alternates between Tuesdays (10a-12p) and Thursdays 2p-4p. In June we will be there Tuesday, June 28, from 10a-12p. There are also monthly distribution and training events at the Georgetown Library, Lewes Library, Shipley State Service Center in Seaford and the Ocean View Police Department.
