James M. Ellison, MD, MPH

James Ellison, MD, MPH, is a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist who sees patients at Beebe Behavioral Health. Dr. Ellison is the Director of Jefferson’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center, a position recently assumed following eight years directing ChristianaCare’s Swank Center for Memory Care and Geriatric Consultation. He knows that most “dementia care” takes place in Primary Care and is a resource for community providers looking to help patients with the next step of evaluation and treatment. 

Dr. Ellison received his medical degree from the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco and completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
