Juanquetta Howell, MSN, RN, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at Beebe Family Practice Milford. She cares for patients of all ages who present with a diverse line of chronic medical issues, ranging from diabetes, hypertension, anxiety and depression, and health challenges related to obesity. As she is building relationships with each patient, Juanquetta educates them about lifestyle choices that can improve overall wellness and recommended preventive health screenings based on age, family medical history, and other factors.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Juanquetta earned a family nurse practitioner degree and a bachelor of science degree in nursing at Wilmington University. Additionally she completed an associate’s degree in nursing at Delaware Technical Community College, where she also earned a diploma in practical nursing studies. Juanquetta is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the American Nephrology Nurses Association.

Earlier Work Experiences
Prior to joining Beebe Healthcare, Juanquetta worked for Sun Behavioral Health in Georgetown, We Care Nephrology in Milford, and Bayhealth Medical Center, also in Milford. Earlier in her career, she worked on a pier diem basis at Beebe, serving as a staff nurse in the intensive care unit. Through her career experiences, Juanquetta has earned a reputation as an exceptional leader and clinical care provider who is committed to optimizing outcomes as well as experience for her patients.

Personal Notes
Juanquetta was born and raised in Sussex County. She is proud to be part of Beebe Healthcare – an organization she knows is committed to serving the community she calls her own. Juanquetta spends her free time volunteering with Black Nurses Rock, a community service organization that provides free health services to the poor and needy. She is also actively involved in community service projects with her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta. Giving back in a positive and meaningful way is very important to Juanquetta, along with spending quality time with her family.
