Julie Philip, DNP, AG-ACNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner at Beebe Healthcare who specializes in medical emergency response. She works collaboratively with the surgery and hospitalist teams at Beebe’s Specialty Surgical Hospital, and supports continued growth of surgical services.

Education, Training, and Credentialing
Julie earned a Doctrine of Nursing Practice from Wilmington University. Additionally, she is a graduate of Duke University, where she earned a Master of Nursing as an acute care nurse practitioner, with concentration on adult gerontology. Julie also graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is board certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, and is licensed to practice in both Delaware and Maryland.

Earlier Work Experiences
Julie began her career at Peninsula Regional Medical Center (now known as TidalHealth) where she initially served as a critical care nurse practitioner, and years later served as a cardiology nurse practitioner and Epic Provider Trainer. She devoted a portion of her career to serving as a pulmonary and critical medicine nurse practitioner for Beebe Medical Group, and as an occupational health nurse practitioner at PIVOT Occupational Health. Most recently, Julie worked as a travel hospitalist nurse practitioner, supporting physician groups in various hospital settings as part of Sound Physicians. She returned to Beebe in early 2023.

In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time on the water and traveling to new places.
