Beebe Healthcare to hold a RN, Respiratory Care Practitioner Job Fair in Lewes September 23

With a growing and aging population in Delaware’s coastal communities, the demand for services at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes has allowed for several openings for experienced nurses and respiratory care providers.

A job fair will take place from 3 – 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, in the Cardiovascular Conference Room at the main campus at 424 Savannah Road, Lewes.

Beebe is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for a full-time position. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner. There is a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. We also have casual positions available.

Beebe is also seeking Emergency Department and ICU RNs to fill positions. There is a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

RNs are also needed for CDU, Orthopaedics, Home Care Services, 3MS, Surgical Services, Cardiac Rehab, OR, Diabetes Education, Nurse Manager ICU, Risk Management Department, Early Nursing Intervention Team, and Women’s Health. Casual and per diem positions are also available. There is a $3,000 sign-on bonus available for specific in-patient units for qualified applicants. RNs must have a minimum of two years recent acute care experience.

In recent years, Beebe Healthcare has received national recognition for its quality programs and its ongoing efforts to bring evidence-based medicine to southern Delaware. Process improvement initiatives are ongoing as employees and leadership focus on bringing the best quality medical care to the communities it serves. Beebe Healthcare is certified by the Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and for its hip and knee replacement surgical programs.

Beebe Healthcare has an extensive surgical program that includes cardiac, gynecologic, gastrointestinal and cancer specialties, as well as an comprehensive orthopaedic and spinal program. Last year, more than 13,000 surgeries were performed in its 12 operating rooms. Beebe is also a “Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystems Elders” (NICHE)-designated hospital, which means that a team of nurses have specialized training to care for elderly patients.
