Beebe Healthcare Welcomes a Number of New Clinicians to Growing Medical Staff
Beebe Healthcare continues to grow its team of clinicians and has welcomed the following new members to its team of care experts:
Scott Clark, MD, is a gastroenterologist who diagnoses and treats inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease, and advanced liver disease. He also sees patients who are candidates for a liver transplant.
Additionally, Dr. Clark is trained to perform Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a procedure that identifies and treats problems in the bile and pancreatic ducts. He is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients ages 16 and older who are experiencing a wide range of gastrointestinal issues, applying the latest treatment options and approaches.
“I have spent the past 10 years getting to know this area and I love it,” said Dr. Clark. “I am very much looking forward to working at Beebe and collaborating with the excellent leadership team in place at this hospital.”
“I am proud to work for Beebe, a place that offers a family-focused atmosphere and is known as the reputable hometown hospital,” said Melvin.

Meininger sees those who have been admitted to Beebe as well as patients requiring cardiovascular care on an outpatient basis at Beebe Cardiology Lewes.
“I am proud to be part of a collaborative cardiology team that prioritizes use of evidence-based standards of care, advocates for shared decision making, and treats patients with kindness and empathy,” said Meininger.

She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening yet require prompt medical attention. As she sees patients with minor illnesses and injuries, Atkins is also responsible for ordering and interpreting imaging. Additionally, she offers sports physicals.
<“I have been part of the Beebe family for many years as a registered nurse,” said Atkins. “I enjoyed the walk-in setting during my nurse practitioner training rotations and that motivated me to pursue a move to this level of care.”
