Beebe Healthcare and Beebe Medical Foundation received a donation in the amount of $12,500 from the Michael A. Ruddo Foundation.

The Michael A. Ruddo Golf Invitational held at the Ocean City Golf Club in Berlin on the Friday before Mother’s Day. The Foundation was established in memory of Mike Ruddo, who received cancer treatment at Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center. The mission of the Ruddo Foundation is to raise funds for Beebe Oncology Services in response to the excellent and compassionate care Mr. Ruddo and his family received while he was a patient. Every year, Mike’s wife, Mabel, her children and her grandchildren participate in playing and helping at the event.

This support allows the clinical team at the Tunnell Cancer Center and South Coastal Cancer Center to continue to provide the same level of care and compassion they gave Mr. Ruddo during his treatment and will provide income in perpetuity to meet the continuing needs of future patients.

Shown during the check presentation (left to right, front row), Timothy Ruddo, Conner Ruddo, Tommy Ruddo, Mable Ruddo, Stephanie Ruddo, and Sean Flanigan.
