Our patients are incredibly educated both on their type of cancer and the variety of treatments available to them. Beebe Oncology Services provides both treatment and support resources.
Introducing Our Survivorship Series
There are currently nearly 14 million cancer survivors in the United States and that number is expected to rise to 18 million by 2022.
Survivorship is now recognized as a distinct phase of the cancer care continuum. Health care providers (HCPs) and survivors are increasingly identifying the need for comprehensive, coordinated, follow-up care to address the long-term and late effects of cancer and its treatment.
Studies by the American Cancer Society document survivors’ many physical/medical, psychological, social, spiritual, financial and informational needs and concerns and indicate that the current standard of care does not adequately address these issues. For 2021, Beebe Oncology Services is expanding our Survivorship services and programs. Learn more on our Oncology Events calendar.

Beebe Integrative Health Resources
Integrative health (or integrative oncology) focuses on managing the mind, body, and spirit using evidence-based integrative modalities in combination with conventional cancer treatment plans. These integrative modalities include practices such as: movement, food as medicine, meditation and mindfulness, yoga, breathing techniques, guided imagery, massage therapy, acupuncture, music therapy and aromatherapy. These modalities can help decrease symptoms and side effects, decrease anxiety and stress, and improve overall quality of life and wellbeing.
Additionally, the integrative approach is centered around the therapeutic relationship between patient and practitioner, empowering individuals to take an active role in their care before, during and beyond cancer treatment. Beebe’s Oncology Services offers the opportunity for people with cancer and caregivers to integrate these approaches to promote healing.
