Laparoscopic colectomies

Beebe’s Dr. John Tyson performs laparoscopic colectomies for patients who have been diagnosed with colon cancer. Laparoscopy makes it much easier to see areas like the pelvis or upper abdomen that can be difficult to see in open surgery.

In most cases, hernias are a minor inconvenience, however some hernias can be life-threatening and require surgery.

Beebe is proud to offer advanced hernia repair procedures, both minimally invasive and robotically assisted. Most patients are usually back doing normal activities by four weeks, even less time for laparoscopic and robotic hernia repairs.
